The
Social Conflict and Legal Reform Project (SCLR) is designed to improve
the ability of Jamaicans to resolve disputes more amicably. To achieve
this objective, the project aims to strengthen the capacity of distinct
areas of the Jamaican legal system and the two pilot communities of Trench
Town in Kingston and Flankers in St. James to manage social conflict more
effectively.
Administration
Bearing Point (formerly KPMG Consulting) and
Robert Hann and Associates (RHA) have been contracted to CIDA as the
Canadian
Executing
Agency

responsibility
for the strategic management and policy level decision-making for the
project. The PAC has an advisory role related to strategy and implementation.
Daily activities are coordinated by a Project Manager whose office is
located in the CIDA Project Support Unit.
